Lu Yongxiang, Former Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee, Inspects Huatong Pneumatics

At 10:15 AM on March 25, 2016, Mr. Lu Yongxiang—former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, former President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and a distinguished leader in China’s scientific community—visited Wuxi Huatong Pneumatic Manufacturing Co., Ltd., accompanied by provincial and municipal officials. Chairman Hua Ping provided a comprehensive briefing on the company’s innovation, R&D achievements, and the CAS coal-to-liquid solid pump project.

During the over-30-minute tour, Mr. Lu visited the Pneumatic Components Production Center, Rail Transit Equipment Center, and Fully Automated Machining Center. He was particularly impressed by Huatong’s independently developed GTB solid pump, which replaces traditional high-pressure CO₂ conveying technology, fills a domestic gap in coal powder transmission, reduces energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, and significantly lowers operating costs in coal-to-liquid processes. He commended the company’s contributions to China’s coal chemical industry and encouraged further advancement in “energy-saving and environmental protection” technologies.
