定影辊俗称加热辊，是定影器的组件之一。一般机型的复印机都有上下两个辊，上辊内部多为中空，有加热灯管进行加热，优质定影辊管材多为纯铝质材料，管壁较薄，保证了热量的有效传导。下辊俗称“胶辊”，中间为金属构件，外部有较厚耐高温的硅橡胶。提示：不要和感光鼓混淆。复印机定影辊是复印机对复印的碳粉图像进行定影的主要装置，是复印机定影部分的关键部件。它由定影上辊和定影下辊两部分组成。定影上辊位于定影装置的上部，定影所需的高温即由这部分传导并施加到复印纸上的碳粉图像。它是一根铝质中空管，在其外层涂有耐高温（一般在180度左右）的化学涂膜，中空部分用来装置产生高温的定影灯管，涂膜部分一般呈黑色，也有其它的颜色，有光泽，两端比较细，是用于固定和装驱动齿轮。定影下辊中间是一钢质实心辊，在中间大部分（与定影上辊相对应）包有约0.8CM厚的橡胶层，一般呈红色，在橡胶层上包有一层薄的耐高温（大约80度左右）的化学薄膜。它的主要作用是对定影上辊施压，它本身没有驱动。其转动的动力来自定影上辊的摩擦，它与定影上辊的转动可以将复印碳粉图像通过高温予以定影并将其送出到复印机的出纸盘中。
概述：磁辊，MR。是与出粉刀摩擦使碳粉带电，机器对磁辊充电，摩擦带电的碳粉被吸附在磁辊表面。组成：磁辊由磁芯、支架、导电丝和磁套构成；其中磁套由铝层和涂层构成；涂层需有一定的导电性、耐磨性和粗糙度。作用：（1）通过内部磁芯将粉仓中的碳粉吸向磁辊套表面。（2）通过磁套表面的涂层与碳粉颗粒及出粉刀上的聚氨酯片互相摩擦，使碳粉带上静电。（3）磁辊套通过AC（交流电）及DC（直流电）电压使得带电碳粉在磁辊套与鼓芯OPC表面之间“跳动”，从而使鼓芯表面的“静电潜像”吸附到碳粉。注意事项：（1）磁辊表面的粗糙度会影响打印质量，故在使用中需注意保护磁辊表面的涂层以及其粗糙度。（2）磁辊在生产中不要重叠压放，以免使磁套变形；不能用手或油触及其表面。（3）注意磁辊的导电支架上的导电丝或导电弹簧无变形装配时能遇到电与磁辊导电钢片正常接触。功能：磁辊是对打印品质黑度影响*大的部件之一，黑色涂层的厚度和粗糙度都会随着不断的使用而改变。吹掉磁辊上吸附的碳粉后，若磁辊上的黑色涂层看起来很薄了，甚至看到了铝基的颜色或表面看起来很光，那么这样的磁辊产生的打印品质会很浅，应该换新磁辊或磁辊套了。
